In the days this beautiful song was popular, I played the 12 inch version many times on my Technics SL1210’s and later in the eighties also on my new LP12 with Carnegie Madrigal One cartridge, the only problem with 12 inch records was that the Linn only could play 45rpm vinyl with a PITA fitting adapter on the motor pulley.

I love vinyl so much. Even though this is still coming to my ears digitally on my computer, the record recording sounds so crisp. Just listened to the official audio, and this is legit more full than that. LOVE IT! Analog always wins!

I don't know... bossa nova recorded by an instrumentalist who isn't Brazilian, it looks strange, it lacks a swing, a sway that I can't explain... it sounds more jazz than bossa nova. Just an observation from a Brazilian. But Stan Getz's dedication and arrangement work on 95% of his bossa work is magnificent.

This is so beautiful, and I have to ask, what speakers, amp and preamp are you using. As much as I love and watch the videos it just hit me one of the keys to this beautiful sound as I'm familiar with that phono preamp, but always knew it's phono section while good was lower in volume and then bam, I saw and paid attention to the Rothwell mcx step-up transformer!!! I've been so engrossed in the music to not pay attention. I will be on the hunt for the Rothwell or another step-up transformer, thank you for your time and just that beautiful music. I'm also subscribed to the other channel as I see you took a different approach, more video related, man how your channel has grown.

Hello :) The detail is very detailed lol I'm interested in what you think about this MH. Is it's high output enough for being a MC cart? Do you get pre amp hiss or have more trouble with grounding due to its output? Would you be happy enough with a MM cart after listening to it in person seeing that you can get a few good MM carts for the price of one MH? Do you find that a higher output MM cart has an advantage over this cart with any records?

Just one question: does the lid have to be in the closed position to work? I’m looking into getting one to fill in for my Numark TTUSB, because I’m looking for a better cartridge/headshell (even though I like the sound of the AT-VM95C/H, even if it doesn’t want to put out a Stereo signal…or much signal on the right channel…and never has.) to use.
